Children in the foster care system are invited to sit down with their CASA volunteer, caseworker, or therapist and narrate their life story entirely from their own perspective. Using an AI video generation tool, their words are transformed into short visual clips that reflect how they understand their experiences. These clips are then securely sent back to CASA, where trained staff edit them into a cohesive story.
The final video will be uploaded to a dedicated page on the CASA website, giving the child an empowering space to see their story honored. It can also serve as a resource for caregivers, advocates, and courts to better understand the child’s emotional world, ultimately helping ensure that each child is seen as an individual, not just a case file.
