In my multimedia storytelling class, my group and I had the opportunity to create a mini documentary about Thanos Market, a local Syracuse business that has been thriving for over 100 years. We explored the history of the market, interviewing the owner to understand how they’ve adapted to changing times while maintaining their legacy. This project taught me the importance of visual storytelling, research, and collaboration, while giving me a deeper appreciation for the power of community-driven narratives.
